Hello all,

I have a problem with showing the live stream from IP/ WEBcam in DOMIQ remote app for Andoid.

Situation: I have two Webcams from EDIAMX. An older one (EDIMAX 7110W) and a newer (EDIMAX 7113W). With the older one the WEB stream of the camera is shown in the CAMERA object of the remote app. The function call is set as:

http://<user>:<userpw>@domain.spdns.de:8292/mjpg/video.mjpg STREAM is OK

For second camera the call is set equivalent with other port:

http://<user>:<userpw>@domain.spdns.de:8294/mjpg/video.mjpg STREAM is not shown.

If I enter the WEB adresses in a WEB Browser directely, in both cases the streams are shown in different browsers.

So my suggestion is, that something has changed in the security protocol of the camera, which is not implemented in the DOMIQ app. Has anybody some ideas how I can get this camera working in DOMIQ remote?

Please compare settings of both cameras - there must be some differences.

I checked this several times. All settings are identical. Only port and IP-Address are different.
I tried another thing last night. I installed your Airplay Tool for windows and checked the function. Here I have the following:

-- showing the camera1 stream works without any problems.

-- showing the camera2 stream, Airplay prompt me to enter the user and pw combination although the credentials are handed over via the http call. After entering stream of camera2 is shown.
This message prompt is not shown in REMOTE app for Android.

If I enable "Anonymous Login" the stream is displayed, but then anybody can see this. This is not a solution. Camera1 also works with "Anonymous Login" = OFF and sending username password with HTTP call.

Maybe it's a different handling of the security protocol/ access handling of username/ password.

Any suggestions?

Could you provide HTTP headers for both streams? Headers can be observed in the developer console in web browser.

Make a request to fetch stream from camera and during that, keep the Developer Console opened (the Network tab).

sorry but for me it is not clear which information you need. If i open this console/ network TAB there is nothing to post.

I cannot upload any screenshot to show what happens when opening dev console.

thank you for the screenshot. But if I call the camera website there is no section like "login.do" or any other section where to find the the mentioned "www.auth string" in the developer console.

Very strange...... I have no idea how to hand over your requested info.
